Wayward Beyond has come quite a long way in the last two years and it has finally reached a complete and polished enough state for me to view it as ready for an early access release however it is now being put on hold for an unknown amount of time. This is due to personal issues, and the lack of time to dedicate to such a large project at this current time. I was partly through the launch process and set to have it released on 3/10/2017 however because of recent personal developments the decision to put it on hold had to be made because I do not want to release into early access when I know the game wont be seeing further development for some time.
I likely wont be able to put full focus on Wayward Beyond for quite a long time so a coming release or updates should not be expected. I hope that I can return to the project in the future, preferably sooner rather than later. Thanks to everyone that commented and voted, good or bad. It was exciting to have been greenlit, and I'm greatful for everyone's input. This has been a large, ambitious project that has spanned the last two years, starting as an experiment with voxel-based spaceships and expanded into a full fledged space sim.
